Rapper Radric Davis or known by his stage name as Gucci Mane is celebrating his 35th birthday today but he is still in prison.
It is unfortunate that the talented hip-hop artist has faced a lot of legal troubles in past years. Back in 2005, he was charged with murderf or killing a man in a shootout. After that, the 35-year-old rapper faced many more issues and in 2014, he pled guilty to possesion of a firearm by a convicted felon. Due to this case, Davis was jailed and his expected release is on March 6 this year.
Despite his numerous run-ins with the law, the rapper still managed to leave his mark in the hip-hop industry. It was in 2005 when Gucci started gaining attention by releasing his first independent album titled "Trap House." After releasing numerous mixtapes, he found further sucess when he released "The Appeal: Georgia's Most Wanted" in 2010 which became his highest charting album of his career.
Last year, he was also able to release "1017 Mafia: Incarcerated" even if he was inside prison.
