Emma Watson announced that she would be starring as Belle, the female and princess lead.
  • Dan Stevens as Beast.

The Beast starts out as a heartless human being. Who ruled his kingdom with selfishness and care not for others let alone his own people. He was tested by a powerful enchantress to see if he had even a slim shred of love or good his heart. When he failed, the enchantress cursed him into a beast until someone falls in love with him.
  • Ewan McGregor had joined the cast as Lumière, the candelabra.

Lumiere is the candelabra/candlestick from the Disney animated movie "Beauty and the Beast". He was the Beast's chef when the sorceress cast the spell on everyone in the castle. Then, he turned into a candelabra/candlestick.
  • Emma Thompson as Mrs. Potts.

She was one of the prince's servants when the sorceress put a spell on everyone. Then, she was turned into a teapot. When Belle enters the castle, she helps her and the Beast fall in love.

He is a sexist, chauvinistic hunter who wants to marry Belle just so he can brag about it and to give him sons that he can mold at his will. He looks down on her intelligence and culture, believing that a woman's place should be in the kitchen, cooking and cleaning for her husband, not be able to read books and learn about the world. It's for that reason that Belle hates Gaston with a passion, she sees him as nothing more than a rude, selfish, chauvinist, barbarian-brained lunkhead and sexist man who is unworthy of her time.
