Taylor Swift beat her ex-boyfriend Harry Styles by taking home the Song of the Year award the Radio Disney Music Awards on April 27.

The 23-year-old was up against Styles and his band One Direction, who were nominated in the respective category for their song Live While We're Young. Swift towered over them, however, with her hit I Knew You Were Trouble and later took home the Best Break Up Song award for We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.

The win comes as an ironic twist to many since Swift admitted in a March interview that I Knew was written with Styles in mind.

One Direction did not go home empty-handed though. They won Best Music Group over fellow United Kingdom natives The Wanted, and also beat Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez for the Fiercest Fan award.

The 2013 Radio Disney Music Awards was held at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. Below are a full list of the night's winners.

Swift and Styles are not done battling it out for the same awards. They are nominated in some of the same categories for the 2013 Billboard Music Awards, which will air on ABC live on Sunday, May 19. Both singers are up for 2013 Top Artist, Top Billboard 200 Album, Top Social Artist and more.
