"Gears of War 4" is getting a huge patch update on Windows 10 PC, though some believe it to be erroneous on the part of Microsoft. The game, together with other selected big titles and some accessories, is on 50% discount.

"Gears of War 4" Update

"Gears of War 4" is reported to be getting a 248.5GB update for Windows 10 PC. But since the base of the third-person shooter video game is only around 50GB, Game Debate thinks that Microsoft has committed an error.

According to the report, it was a NEOGAF user Gowan who first initiated the update for "Gears of War 4." It started with 101GB and then moved to more than 248GB. When the user cancelled the patch, the update restarted to download with the same number GB once again.

"Gears of War 4" players are warned not to update their game on Microsoft Windows 10 PC as it may steal away their bandwith. It is not clear if other players have also experienced downloading this gigantic patch.

Before Valentine's Day, "Gears of War 4" has a new mode that will last until Feb 20. Cupid Torque Bow Tag gives players a special Torque Bow in pink design that will turn into a heart when in contact with an enemy.
