"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" footage has revealed that Keira Knightley will return as Elizabeth Swann.

According to The Independent, a previous trailer for "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" already indicated Orlando Bloom's return as Will Turner. Upon his return, he is now a barnacle covered-mess as he took over command of The Flying Dutchman after his death which occurred at the end of the "Pirates of the Caribbean 3: At World's End."

Currently, the Japanese trailer for the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" has debut surprising the avid supporters of the movie as Keira Knightley returns as Elizabeth Swann. It was also noted that Knightley's role is likely a little more than a brief role.

Moreover, Metro has learned that Knightley admittedly that she doesn't actually do much in the trailer. In fact, she just stares off into the middle distance as the wind blew her hair like a good adventurous protagonist.

It can be remembered that Elizabeth was last seen in "Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End" way back in 2007. She raised Henry and she waited for Will to accomplish his responsibilities in the Netherworld.

The "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" will also feature Johnny Depp's unstoppable scalawag as he faces a new enemy in the form of former subordinate Captain Salazar, which was portrayed by Javier Bardem. As Captain Salazar escapes from the grasps of the Devil's Triangle he will be impelled with a mission to slay all living pirates, specifically targeting Sparrow.

It was also mentioned that the "Pirates of the Caribbean 5" has boast the usual formula for the movie's vehicle as the supernatural crew of Salazar's fight against Sparrow and a young, beautiful lass named Carina Smyth portrayed by Kaya Scodelario and a lad named Henry, who was a Brenton Thwaites' Royal Navy sailor and son of Elizabeth and Will.

"Pirates of the Caribbean 5" entitled "Dead Man Tales" in the US and "Salazar's Revenge" in the UK is set to hit big screens on May 26, 2017.
