Beyoncé has been out of the limelight ever since the birth of her twins, Sir and Rumi. However, she has definitely been a hot topic- except, it isn't the real Beyoncé, and no she does not have an evil twin.

A wax figure, which was supposed to be Beyoncé, was on display at the Midtown location of Madame Tussauds. The purpose of the wax figures in this location is to highly resemble celebrities and famous figures, however, this was definitely not the case for the Lemonade singer.

The statue did not resemble the artist at all and critics said the figure appeared to be too light skinned. Angry fans took to social media to express their rage and adding that the wax figure resembled pop sensations like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan and Taylor Swift.

"Our talented team of sculptors take every effort to ensure we accurately colour match all of our wax figures to the celebrity being depicted," Madame Tussauds New York said in a statement about the Beyoncé figure. "Lighting within the attraction combined with flash photography may distort and misrepresent the colour of our wax figures, which is something our sculptors are unable to account for at the production stage."

The statue was removed on Thursday because it was going "on tour," which means that it will be visiting other museum locations across the country.
