Kings of Leon's bass guitarist Jared Followill has tweeted his excitement about his recent engagement to beautiful model girlfriend Martha Patterson. "It's true! I'm engaged! CANNOT wait to finally lose my virginity," he posted on his Twitter account.

Followill, 25, reportedly popped the question to Patterson on April 11. His representative confirmed the news of the engagement to celebrity website Just Jared. "Yes, it's true! Jared proposed to Martha on April 11 at his home in Nashville and we're all excited for the newly engaged couple," the representative said.

Now all eyes are on the huge 4-carat cusion-cut diamond set on a diamond-covered ring given to Patterson, which was personally designed by Followill himself. The ring first made its debut at the Coachella Music Festival last month.

The pair plan to split their time between their two homes in Nashville and L.A. Kings of Leon is rock band composed of brothers Anthony Caleb Followill, Ivan Nathan Followill, Michael Jared Followill, and cousin Cameron Matthew Followill. In 2010, the band won the Grammy Award for Record of the Year, Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal and Best Rock Song for "Use Somebody at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.
