Kris Jenner has broken her silence concerning Beyoncé and Jay Z's decision to opt out of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's wedding.

The momager and Keeping Up With The Kardashians star told a radio station in Australia Tuesday that no one at the actual Florence, Italy wedding was wondering where Bey and Jay were.

"There was so much commotion and excitement, I never really gave that a second thought. If you had been there, you would have thought that was the last thing on anyone's mind. I just assumed they were working."

She added that the couple sent their congratulations before the ceremony.

Instead of attending the wedding, the couple spent their Memorial Day weekend riding bikes in the Hamptons. Beyonce did take to her Instagram during the May 24 wedding to send her blessings to the couple. She posted a picture of Kardashian, West and their daughter North on Instagram and wrote, "Wishing you a lifetime of unconditional love. God bless your beautiful family."

But several followers didn't think Beyonce was genuine in giving her well wishes to Kardashian.

One wrote, "She wrote this for Kanye West since he is their friend. She doesn't [care] about Kim and she is right. Because Kim is fake without any talent and any pride."

Another added, "Now you know you don't like her. Stop it."

While other celebrities like Vogue  editor-in-chief Anna Wintour and Kardashian's own brother Rob and half-brother, Brody Jenner didn't attend, a-list celebrities like John Legend and West's label mate Big Sean were spotted.
