Hawaii Five-0's Adam Noshimuri may make an appearance in the early episodes of season 5.

McGarrett To Partner With Grover In 'Hawaii Five-0' Premiere? Execs Explain McDanno Status

Son of Hiro Noshimuri, ally of McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin), boyfriend of Kono Grace park, and a Wo Fat (Mark Dacascos) hater in his own right, Adam (Ian Anthony Dale) spent a large portion of season 4 continent jumping to evade the Yakuza. Now that he can safely reside in Hawaii alongside Kono, the former criminal may pop up from time to time.

"[Ian Anthony Dale] Looking forward to seeing you soon," tweeted executive producer Peter Lenkov on Monday, to which Dale replied, "Likewise Peter. Can't wait!"

'Hawaii Five-0' Season 5 Premiere Date Announced, What Does Wo Fat Have Planned For Steve McGarrett?

Could this be an indication that Adam is returning? Despite Dale's busy work schedule, it may be a very likely possibility.

Dale is currently staring as Jim Koto in TNT's newest summer series, Murder in the First, and the actor was just cast as a "superman" type doctor for The CW's Heart of Dixie. Luckily for Hawaii Five-0, The CW's affiliation with CBS may make it easy for Dale to move back and forth between the two programs.

When Hawaii Five-0 returns, McGarrett will have a chance to meet face to face with the newly returned Wo Fat. It remains to be seen whether or not the elusive criminal will shed any light on the whereabouts of his father.

Hawaii Five-0 will return to CBS on Sept 26 at 9 p.m. ET. Click the video below to see a preview for the series' most recent episode.
