The third season premiere of Boardwalk Empire airs on Sunday, Sept.16 at 9pm ET on HBO. After Nucky killed Jimmy in Season 2, fans can expect Thompson to become more ruthless. In the clip, Al Capone brings the drama when he enters a flower shop and intentionally drops a flower vase to get close to his target, Nelson Van Alden. Van Alden appears nervous and unsure what is about to happen so he pretends the suitcase he is carrying has a gun in it to thwart off any attempts to be attacked.
