CBS has decided to make the "Beverly Hills Cop" into a television series and Eddie Murphy, a star from the original cast, will be in the show's pilot and have a reoccurring role if the series is picked up. The movie trilogy will come to the small screen next fall if plans go through. In the television show, Murphy's Axel Foley character will be police chief of Detroit, while his son, Aaron, has become a Beverly Hills cop, according to New York Daily News.
