    "The Voice" had stiff competition on Monday, Dec. 3 when the Top 6 finalists performed two songs each for their mentors. Cee Lo Green's act Trevin Hunte was the highlight of the episode. Hunte, 18, received a standing ovation and rave reviews from all four judges for his rendition of "And I Am Telling You" on "The Voice" on Monday. Adam Levine said Hunte had an "incredible, God-given voice" then described his take on the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack song "one of the best performances I've seen on the show, seriously maybe ever."

    Despite reports of a potential ax due to poor ratings, Matt Lauer is not getting fired from the "Today." According to a report, the 54-year-old stands to lose his cushy $25 million-a-year salary if the morning show's ratings does not increase by February, 2013. However, "Today" executive Alexandra Wallace has come forward to deny the claims. "There is absolutely no truth to this," Wallace told New York Post. "There have been some recent outrageous claims regarding Matt and the 'Today' show, and an awful lot of piling on from nameless, faceless sources. These stories are wrong and irresponsible."

    The 15th annual world famous Christmas tree lighting ceremony "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" will telecast live on NBC and livestream online on Wednesday, Nov. 28 at 8/7c. Guests scheduled to appear include "American Idol" judge Mariah Carey, "The Voice" mentor Cee-Lo Green, Disney star Victoria Justice, Chris Mann, Rod Stewart, Academy Award host Billy Crystal and Bette Milder. The Radio City Rockettes and The Muppets will also appear. The event will unveil a holiday ornament-trimmed and well-lit Norway Spruce tree that is approximately 80 feet tall and weighs almost 10 tons, according to NBC. The tree was estimated to be 80 years old. It is reportedly decorated with 30,000 lights and topped with a Swarovski crystal star.

Several other famous stars will wave to millions of attendees standing watch along the route including Miss USA Olivia Culpo and several 2012 Olympic Gold Medalists.

The late night talk show host and his house band, The Roots music group, joined Aguilera for an eclectic performance where together they used office supplies for instruments for her performance. Fallon opened the set for "The Voice" mentor by using his cell phone's beeps which served as the background music for Aguilera's vocals which she supported with a stapler. In the video below, the comedian and Grammy singer used a variety of office supplies to substitute instruments-a tape dispenser, Kleenex box, iPhone and a water jug.
