While the current HOH in the Big Brother 17 house wants one person evicted, a few crafty houseguests have other plans.

Shelli Melts Down After 'Big Brother' Nomination Ceremony

Head of Household: James Huling

Nominees: Clay Honeycutt and Shelli Poole

Other houseguests: Austin Matelson, Becky Burgess, Jackie Ibarra, John McGuire, Julia Nolan, Liz Nolan, Meg Maley, Steve Moses and Vanessa Rousso

Power Finally Shifts in the 'Big Brother 17' House

James previously won the Power of Veto and chose to keep his nominations the same, meaning that either Shelli or Clay will be evicted Thursday. This is a big move to split up the strongest pair in the house, but there is still some conflict regarding who to send home.

James really wants Shelli to be evicted, considering she is a competition beast and the more dominant force between her and Clay. Jackie and Meg are obviously on board with James' intention to send home Shelli, but others are not.

Vanessa is more closely aligned with Shelli and has been orchestrating the possible eviction of Clay for Thursday. She seems to be in control of Austin, Liz and Julia, despite them not trusting Shelli.

Steve, who thinks he's in an alliance with Vanessa, is also planning to vote to evict Clay. So that's five votes already, which is enough to send Clay out the door. Though a lot could change by Thursday.

In the mean time, Vanessa is already plotting her plan for next week. She wants to say that she's targeting Shelli next week while secretly backdooring someone like Jackie or John.

If Clay is evicted on Thursday, expect the battle lines to be drawn even more, with James, Jackie and Meg being blindsided yet again.

Big Brother 17 continues with a new episode on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The new episode will feature the Power of Veto competition and the Veto competition.
