Drake, who actually got his claim to fame as the cool and smooth Jimmy Brooks long before we knew him as a rapper, posed with Daniel Clark (who played bad boy Sean Cameron), Adamo Ruggiero (who portrayed the sweet marco Del Rossi) and Lauren Collins who played the popular girl all the kids wanted to be, Paige Michalchuk.

One can only imagine what the reunion between them was like.

Drake starred in the show as a middle school student and viewers got connected to them all the way through high school and beyond.

Seeing the photo of them only brings back memories and many are most likely looking for old episodes on Netflix.

Fans took to the photo to express their shock followed by joy after seeing the picture.

Some wondered if the photo meant Drake would be joining the cast for the upcoming special.

“This just made my childhood too complete. I was wondering if u would be on he #degrassi special.”

While he didn’t make the recent special, fans were still happy to see them all together.

Another added, “we should binge degrassi”.

One fan sung out the infamous intro, “Whatever it takes I know I can make it through…..”

Another wrote, “I love Degrassi. I’m so glad they finally had an opportunity to show them together…I’m too old now but I loved this show as a teenager.”

It’s good to see that Drake hasn’t forgotten his childhood friends after being a major international artist.
