Meredith Vieira is to return to ABC's "General Hospital" after nearly a decade since her last appearance on the show. The well-known TV personality will reprise her role as Bree Flanders, the owner of a high-class call-girl business who had attempted to hire one of Luke Spencer's girls.

Vieira will reportedly appear on the soap on Dec. 14, but her character will be doing a different kind of work.  She dished to TV Guide about her upcoming episode.

"Sabrina and Felix are desperately trying to get a meeting with Lucy but first they have to go through me."

Vieira also stated that there will be many big names that would be appearing on her show, "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire."

"Yes, we have Finola Hughes (Anna), Ian Buchanan (Duke), Jason Thompson (Patrick) and (head writer) Ron Carlivati coming on Millionaire. t'll air around GH's 50th anniversary in April. Such terrific people! I've had some wonderful opportunities thanks to these crazy jobs of mine, particularly Millionaire and The View and Today."

The 58-year-old also elaborated on an old role she had on Broadway in "The Lion King."

"I was one of the bird women in the 'Circle of Life' number - and it was almost ended my life!  I wore this big headdress and a bird on each arm and had to walk up a flight of stairs with no railing.  I was told, "If you fail, don't get up.  Just lie there and wait until the ambulance comes."

Vieira also chuckled at the notion of having the reputation as somebody willing to take on nearly everything thrown her way, which includes stints on "The View" and "60 Minutes," amongst other notable appearances.

"I was sure I was flushing all my credibility down the toilet.  (Laughs) And I pretty much did.  But it all ended up being great.  Now, as you can see, I'll do anything," she said.
