'Days of Our Lives' Spoilers: Nicole Scores A Major Victory Over Serena & Xander [PHOTO]
It's been a hard sell to get the people responsible for her near death to pay for their crimes, but Nicole (Arianne Zucker) may finally get justice when it comes to Serena (Melissa Archer) and Xander (Paul Telfer) on Days of Our Lives.
Daniel's Decision About Nicole Stuns Serena
The two, who were wrapped up in a diamond smuggling ring have been Nicole's biggest enemies since Xander tried to kill both her and Eric (Greg Vaughn) a few months ago, but unfortunately for her, there has never been evidence of the crime to get either one arrested, let alone convicted, leaving them both to walk freely along the streets of Salem still.
However, though there may be no way to technically place Xander at the scene of the attack due to his cleaning the scene up well and having his paid alibis for that night, something new could emerge in the investigation into him which may unearth the diamond smuggling scheme.

As such, both he and Serena could now find themselves in legal hot water and on the receiving end of justice for what they've done -- something that will give Nicole some piece of mind and a smug feeling about them both getting what they deserve.
It could be extra sweet for Nicole if she happens to stumble across the fact that Serena has since also tried to destroy her relationship with Daniel (Shawn Christian). After suspecting that Nicole and Eric were hiding something about the night they almost died, Serena uncovered that the two had nearly made love -- and went to Daniel with the information she uncovered. Afterwards, he demanded the truth from Nicole once and for all before they made any further plans to marry -- forcing her to come clean in order to save the romance. If she learns however that Serena is the one who nearly cost her everything once again, learning that she is going to be punished for the diamond smuggling could be an extra sweet victory for her.
