Monica is telling it like it is, at least when it comes to her former friend Monica. The singer opened up about what actually happened between the two women last summer and why no one should be worrying about Ciara's parenting skills, except for of course, Ciara, herself.

According to Vibe this past weekend, Monica suggests that Ciara's ex-fiance Future shouldn't be too concerned about Ciara's new boyfriend Russell Wilson hanging out with their 15-month-old son Future Zahir Wilburn. In fact, she thinks it's a private matter that should be of no one's concern. The rapper recently went on a Twitter rant when he saw photos of his son hanging out with the Seattle Seahawks star during a training session.

Monica said, "I make it my business to mind my business, that's the difference with me. I love the fact that she's in love and happy, and I think the best thing you can do is to put God at the forefront of it, and other people completely out of it-especially the media [...] I know what I had to do when it came to me and my children, and everybody will make that choice as a parent."

Monica also clarifies rumors that said she and Ciara had a falling out last year. She says there's absolutely no truth to it.

"I read something that I didn't tell her about somebody cheating, none of that stuff is true," she said. "They say I was friends with somebody he was cheating with, none of that stuff is true. I am friends with on of the mothers of one of Future's children, but it's the mom that you never see, you never hear, that Ciara also has a good relationship with. So a lot of the stuff you read is very untrue. Nothing that happened with us had anything to do with him."
