Vicki Gunvalson responded to fan criticism of her treatment of Meghan King Edmonds on Monday.

Vicki Gunvalson Isn't Threatened By Meghan King Edmonds, But She Is 'Tired Of Her'

During an early episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County season 10, Gunvalson brought up the fact that Edmonds has chosen not to work, and right away, gold digger allegations began to swirl. However, according to a new tweet, Gunvalson was only encouraging Edmonds to better herself.

During a conversation about whether or not wives should consult with their husbands before making a major purchase, Gunvalson expressed shock in the idea that Edmonds, who doesn't work, wouldn't ask husband Jim Edmonds before doing so.

“What’s Meghan going to do when Jim moves on to wife number four?” Gunvalson asked, according to a Radar Online clip. “That’s how women get into trouble, they spend their husband’s money without asking.”

Although Edmonds used to sell medical equipment, she quit her job after falling in love with Jim, claiming her career simply didn't jive with their relationship.

Following her conversation with Gunvalson, Edmonds told cameras, “If Vicki’s calling me a gold digger, maybe she’s jealous of my situation. I don’t really care.”
