The Big Brother 17 live feeds were down for several hours on Friday, but it seems that very few things have changed in the house.

Steve Proposes New Deal To Liz on 'Big Brother 17'

The live feeds were down for 16 hours yesterday for unannounced reasons, though it soon became clear why after they came back up. Liz won the "Luxury" part of the HOH competition, allowing her to go outside the house for a day, and Friday was that day. Liz got to bring one person with her and she chose Vanessa. The luxury was a trip to an Ariana Grande concert, and they got to meet the pop superstar as well as her brother, Big Brother 16 houseguest Frankie Grande.

The Nomination ceremony was also held on Friday, and Vanessa chose to nominate John and Steve. She has made it clear that John is her target.

John later spoke with Austin and Liz and revealed that he would throw the Veto competition to them if they would vote to evict Steve instead of him. He admitted to throwing Austin and Liz under the bus over the past few weeks and that the things they've heard about him were all true. But essentially, he wants to start over with a clean slate and go to the Final 3 with them.

Austin and Liz discussed this proposal, with Liz admitting that she would rather Steve be evicted. She also said she was unhappy that John has been throwing them under the bus but that they would let John throw the Veto competition if he is so inclined. The showmance then went to Vanessa to let her know about John's proposal. Vanessa was confused about this deal but happy that John would consider throwing the competition.

Vanessa also told Steve that she was hoping they could be the new Rock Stars after John is gone. Steve pretty much has no choice but to work with Vanessa if John is evicted, so he was agreeable.

Assuming John or Steve don't win the Veto competition, it's looking like Austin and Liz will follow Vanessa's wishes and vote to evict John. This would leave Austin and Liz against Vanessa and Steve. There's no telling what might go down after that, considering it's all about winning competitions.

Big Brother 17 returns for a new episode Sunday at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. The episode will feature the HOH competition and the Nomination ceremony.
