While the Baltimore Ravens (9-5) already have a spot cemented in the NFL playoffs, the pressure is certainly on the New York Giants (8-6), who desperately need to finish the regular season with two more wins in order to have a shot at defending its 2011-12 Super Bowl trophy.  Both football clubs will head into Sunday's matchup coming off losses.

The Ravens enter the game against Big Blue in the midst of a three-game losing streak while New York is coming off an embarrassing shut out, which is its first in seven seasons.

While Baltimore has already clinched its fifth consecutive playoff berth, its current losing streak has left the AFC North within reach for several other clubs.  The Ravens haven't experienced dealt such a string of defeats since they dropped nine straight in 2007.

"We've got work to do.  We're going to fight like crazy to become the team we're capable of becoming.  We're not that team yet.  It's a long season, but all of our goals and all of our dreams are squarely in front of us," coach John Harbaugh told ESPN.

On the other hand, the Giants were atop the NFC East for a majority of the season, but are now tied with both the Dallas Cowboys and Washington Redskins.

In last week's matchup, New York faltered to the Atlanta Falcons by a margin of 34-0. The team hasn't been blanked since losing 23-0 to the Carolina Panthers in the 2006 playoffs.

If the Giants can win its remaining two matchups, it will still gain a wild-card spot at the very least.  However, in order to capture the division, they'll need two wins along with one loss apiece out of the Redskins and Cowboys.
