The Dread Doctors toyed around with Kira's (Arden Cho) fox spirit, and their meddling caused the Yukimura's to flee Beacon Hills after some nasty murder accusations. When the MTV series returns this winter, Kira will quickly take herself off the injured list.

“She and Noshiko (Tamlyn Tomita) have gone off to figure out how to solve the problem of the fox spirit taking control,” Davis teased. “Episode 12 cues the audience in to where she's been and where she's going with a bit of a cliffhanger, and then 13 is all about Kira. It's pretty fun, what we've come up with, and pretty ambitious, and it delves into some of the tougher parts of her relationship with her own mother, too.”

Nothing like a good in-depth character building episode! Once Kira and her mother return from New Mexico, they will no doubt be surprised to find that Beacon Hills will be even worst off than when they left it. With Dread Doctors, Hellhounds, and Theo’s new pack on the loose, there will be plenty of baddies for Kira to battle.
