Taylor Swift was named the most charitable celebrity of 2012.

DoSomething.org released its annual list of "Celebs Gone Good," which names the top 20 stars who were the most charitable of the year and the country singer earned the top spot.

The 23-year-old Nashville native won the nod because she donated $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame museum. The non-profit also recognized her for being the youngest recipient of the Ripple of Hope Award, which she received at the Robert F. Kennedy Center earlier this month.

Miley Cyrus, Channing Tatum, Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber join Swift on the list to help round off the top five most charitable celebs of the year.

Cyrus, 20, was recognized for her work with the animal activist group Saving Spot! Rescue, which finds homes for dogs in kill shelters. The actress/singer has also worked with Save the Music Foundation, the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the Make-A-Wish Foundation. Tatum, who topped the "Sexiest People Alive" of 2012 list, came in third. The "Magic Mike" star was acknowledged for his work with the Rainforest Foundation. Lady Gaga, landed fourth for the anti-bullying campaign she spearheads through her own non-profit, the Born This Way Foundation. Bieber earned fifth place for his work with Pencils of Promise and his Believe Charity Drive.
