Teen Wolf's Scott McCall can't stay in high school forever, but will the teen's eventual graduation push Tyler Posey from his staring role? Now that a sixth season is in the cards, this is a question that has sparked panic among the werewolf's loyal fans.

After lasting five - soon to be six - season's as Beacon Hill's preeminent werewolf, recent rumors indicate that the 24-year-old actor may soon take a back seat to Beacon Hill's up-and-coming freshman class.

"Beyond season six, I'd love for someone else to take over the show," series creator Jeff Davis recently told The Hollywood Reporter. "If it still has life, if there's still stories to tell, that would be great - [to] see maybe Dylan Sprayberry take over the role of the Teen Wolf and see Tyler Posey move into more of a Derek Hale (Tyler Hoechlin) role. That would be the Degrassi High version."

Many viewers misinterpreted this as meaning Posey would be off the show all together, particularly since Hoechlin recently took his leave of Beacon Hills. Whatever happens, Posey has assured fans that he is not planning on stepping out anytime in the near future - or ever, for that matter.
