Will one Ta Keo alliance turn on each other in the next episode of CBS's Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance?

Who Will Be Voted Out Second On 'Survivor: Cambodia'?

A new promo for episode 2 of Survivor: Cambodia has been released, featuring a very intriguing scene involving Abi-Maria Gomes and Shirin Oskooi. While the pair voted together in the first episode to successfully send Vytas Baskauskas out of the game, it looks like the alliance may be ending.

Shirin asks Abi-Maria if they are "still in this together," to which Abi-Maria just smiles and shakes her head. While it is unclear if this is edit trickery, the implication is that Abi-Maria no longer wants to be in an alliance with Shirin.

Who Will Win 'Survivor: Cambodia'? Take Our Poll!

Assuming Ta Keo loses the next Immunity Challenge and are forced to go to Tribal Council again, does this mean Shirin is in trouble? If alliances otherwise stayed the same, Abi-Maria flipping to work with Kelly Wiglesworth, Terry Deitz and Woo Hwang would still make them the minority. This may be where Jeff Varner comes in, since he is seen in the "Next Time on Survivor" segment telling Terry that they need to get out "threats," suggesting he's talking about players not in Terry's alliance.

So if Jeff and Abi-Maria flip to the "Old School" alliance, Shirin, Kelley Wentworth, Peih-Gee Law and Spencer Bledsoe may be in trouble. Since Peih-Gee was a swing vote in the first episode it's possible she'll flip with Jeff and Abi-Maria too which narrows it down to Shirin, Kelley and Spencer, three superfans who are huge threats to win the game.

It's also possible that Ta Keo wins the next challenge and Bayon goes to Tribal Council! It's anyone's guess at this point, but the drama will undoubtedly continue following last week's excellent premiere episode.

Survivor: Cambodia - Second Chance airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
