Following news of Cooper's role on the third season of MTV's Are You The One?, The Ashley's Reality Roundup revealed the reality stars' connection, noting Cooper as one of Edwards' former girlfriends. Days later, Edwards surfaced on Twitter, where he set the record straight, and requested Cooper do the same.

Edwards also shared a second message, in which he confirmed Cooper was "never my girl friend."

Unfortunately, rumors continue to swirl regarding Edwards and Cooper's past relationship.

Although Edwards and Cooper weren't rumored to be dating for very long, a Starcasm report in 2013 claimed they spent a weekend together that year. However, while Cooper was hoping to strike up a love connection in Tennessee after traveling from Virginia, their time together was cut short when Edwards reportedly left her out of an event they had planned to attend together.
