Attack on Titan fans, rejoice! The manga (and the anime) is in no risk of ending anytime in the near future.

'Attack On Titan' Season 2: Footage Leaked, Truth About The Wall Titan Revealed?

Now an international phenomenon, Attack on Titan has spawned an anime series, a live-action film, four video games, and a junior high spin off. For author and illustrator Hajime Isayama, the journey is far from over.

In an interview with Antenna (via Fuku-Shuu), editor Kawakubo Shintaro revealed the time line for upcoming chapters, and by extension, the duration of the anime.

"There are about three years worth of manga chapters left," Fuku-Shuu reported.

In conjunction with Isayama's claim that the series is 60 percent complete, this new announcement indicates that Attack on Titan will ultimately include nearly 27 volumes. Readers are currently anticipating the release of volume 18, which will include chapters 71 ("Bystander"), 72 ("The Night of the Operation"), and 73 ("The Town Where Everything Began").

Currently, anime viewers are looking forward to season 2, which should open with the events of volume 8.
