As if the scandal involving Meri's online affair with a catfisher that Robyn knew about wasn't enough, the Sister Wives clan is going to soon have another scandal to talk down in the media.
Robyn Allegedly Knew Meri Was Being Catfished
The initially happy news that Janelle and Kody's daughter Madison was engaged turns out to be more scandalous than previously known-as her fiance, Caleb brush is actually her aunt's (not by blood) brother.
According to reports, Brush is Erica Brush-Brown's brother. Erica was previously married to Kody's brother Curtis, who died in 2013 in a motorcycle accident. So while the impending marriage between Maddie and Caleb isn't breaking any rules because the two are not related by blood, it is causing some to question the relationship more.
Meri & Catfisher Both Break Silence On Affair
However, it wouldn't be the first time members of the family were connected to others, as Janelle, Kody's second wife, was married to Meri's brother before she divorced him to be with Kody.
It's not hard to imagine that a marriage between two extended members of the family tree could happen as it appears to be with Maddie and Caleb, as Maddie's father does have four wives, and she is currently one of 17 children, with an 18th on the way.
The news about Maddie's shocking engagement comes on the heels of the major scandal that has erupted over Meri's online affair with a catfisher, who has since claimed the two were physically involved, and that "he" is not a catfisher but a real man. A blog website for the man, who goes by Samuel Cooper (and is believed to actually be a female named Jackie Overton), also temporarily set up a page with alleged proof of a sexual relationship between the two.
However, the page and all mentions of a relationship with Meri have since been taken down from the blog, though a new post has since gone up talking about getting what was wanted.
"Things went in a heck of a direction today. I'm happy and moving forward with my life. If you love someone, fight for them. And you will be surprised what happens," the new post reads.
