Now that fans have seen the first episode of FX's American Horror Story: Hotel, let's take a look and what's coming up in episode 2.

Why 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Is Evan Peters' Favorite Season To Date

The premiere of American Horror Story: Hotel set the stage for just how dark and twisted the Hotel Cortez really is, with ghosts, creepy children and other creatures roaming the halls.

Moving on to episode 2, titled Chutes and Ladders, we will learn more about the creation and development of the hotel.

Why Did 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Debut Lower Than 'Freak Show'?

"Fashion mogul Will Drake [Cheyenne Jackson] brings couture to the Hotel Cortez," the FX synopsis reads. "A model catches The Countess's [Lady Gaga] eye. John [Wes Bentley] learns about the hotel's sadistic first owner."

The trailer for Chutes and Ladders shows The Countess setting her sights on Tristan (Finn Wittrock), the model mentioned in the synopsis. The Countess grabs Tristan and pins him up against the wall. She gives him a seductive look and deadpans, "Gotcha."

Also, the trailer shows Hypodermic Sally (Sarah Paulson) closing Gabriel (Max Greenfield) into a mattress, telling him, "Thinking you could cheat death."

There are also many scenes featuring Mr. James March (Evan Peters), the hotel owner. He is shown stuffing something (someone?) into a laundry chute with a frenzied look on his face. This cannot be good.

The trailer also shows John running around the hallways of the hotel, clearly going mad. Watch the full trailer below.

American Horror Story: Hotel airs Wednesdays at 10 p.m. ET/PT on FX.
