We now have a first look at NeNe Leakes' popup on her former show, The Real Housewives of Atlanta, as well as the real reason Leakes has returned for a special appearance on the Bravo series.

It was reported yesterday that Leakes had a “sneak attack” for the ladies and now we know why she has returned despite vowing that she would not this season.

Producers of the show gave Leakes a call and begged her to return to add some spice and flavor to the new episodes. This is her first season not being a full-time cast member. She was the only original co-star standing when she announced her departure over the summer.

Apparently the remaining ladies — Porsha Williams, Kenya Moore, Phaedra Parks, Kandi Burruss, Cynthia Bailey and returner Sheree Whitfield long with newcomer Kim Fields — weren’t bringing enough drama alone. So showrunners wanted Leakes to come back in to help, TMZ reported Wednesday.

Leakes popped up on the cat during their trip to Jamaica. Fans will have to wait until later in the season to see Leakes on the series again.

Meanwhile, Leakes posted a snapshot with herself and some of the ladies and their husbands Wednesday night, confirming the new.

She added the caption, “Guess who’s coming to dinner.”

Interestingly enough, she’s standing between her best friend turned arch nemesis Cynthia Bailey and Bailey’s husband, Peter Thomas. Just before she posted a solo photo and wrote, “Hunni I’m home #RHOA”.
