The three-piece band from Washington that relocated to California, consisting of brothers Wesley and Keaton Stromberg and their close friend Drew Chadwick, rose to fame on The X Factor USA in 2012. Despite not walking away as winners they inked a joint record deal with Simon Cowell's Syco Music label and Columbia Records.

They toured a lot and released an album and then last year they parted ways with the labels and eventually Chadwick parted ways with the Stromberg siblings to go after his solo aspirations.

Music was still very much part of life for all three guys though despite Chadwick's departure and the eventual hiatus the Strombergs took from E3 too.

Now, fast-forward to September of this year where the band's Twitter account teased an image of themselves in silhouette with their "E3" logo after they were spotted at the Janoskians: Untold and Untrue movie premiere together in late August.

Then in October, they teased they would be making an announcement on today, Nov. 3, through their email list.

We have access to their email list and got the announcement. In case you're not on the list (sign up ASAP), the band announced new music and a tour would be happening next year in 2016.

In the video that is below, Wes kicked things off with thanking the fans for their unwavering support.

"We want to say thank you from the bottom of our hearts for being there for us through all the ups and downs," the older Stromberg dished.

"Yes, the rumors are true," Chadwick then shared, adding, "We are making a new album in the studio now and we're going to be releasing it next year alongside a tour."

"#E3Now" is a popular hashtag on Twitter at the moment.
