Hawaii Five-0's Steve McGarrett is ready to shed his heartache in return for a little danger.

It's time to shake the Five-0 leader out of his post-Catherine blues. To do so, McGarrett (Alex O'Loughlin) will head out on an adventures first date with the free-spirited Lynn Downey.

"He's pretty shut down when she comes onto the scene, it's one one of those moments where he sees her and we'll see what happens down the road but it looks pretty promising," Carter explained to ET Online, later calling the newbie "the perfect match for McGarrett."

Free diving will dovetail into island exploration, but that's where the date will take a dangerous turn. Watch out, ladies. You go out with Steve McGarrett and you'll wind up fighting mobsters before the goodnight kiss.

However, you get the added bonus of a (hopefully) once in a lifetime adventure and the aid of Hawaii's premiere crime fighter.

"He gets to show off all his Navy SEAL skills and she's impressed," Carter teased.
