Shakira could have given birth to her first baby on Monday in Barcelona, according to Spanish media.

Spanish newspapers El Pais and La Razon report that the Colombian singer scheduled an induced delivery for Monday afternoon at the clinic Teknon in Barcelona where she is been taken care of by gynecologist Carlota Garcia-Valdecasas, according to El Pais newspaper.

While Shakira's fans are awaiting for the official announcement from the singer, one thing has been confirmed: Shakira and her soccer star boyfriend Gerard Pique are expecting a boy.

Shakira and Pique however, have dismissed rumors that they will name the baby Ulisito (as some media reports have claimed).

"We will give him a name when we see his face," Pique told El Pais.

"Some media have come up with ridiculous names just because they need to publish stuff about the topic. We are not going to name him Ulisito, as it's been rumored. First we thought about the name Biel, which we like, but I don't think that would be it. Neither Gerard. We will see," Shakira said in one ocassion, according to Colombian newspaper El Clarin.

While the world awaits for the "baby news," Shakira's home in Barcelona is surrounded by photographers, according to El Pais. Shakira's parents and siblings are reportedly in Barcelona to welcome the new addition to the family.
