Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth may no longer be together, but the two are certainly on good terms—in fact, Cyrus just helped her ex-fiance adopt a puppy. It doesn't get much more tight-knit than that!

Important: Did Miley Cyrus Borrow Liam Hemsworth's 'TMNT' Onesie?

The Hunger Games actor Instagrammed a beyond adorable photo of himself and his enormous new pup on Monday night, giving the happy-go-lucky dog a huge hug from behind. To put the dog's size in perspective, the hunky actor is 6'3—and the aptly named Dora the Explorer can certainly give her owner a run for his money.

"New 'gigantic' rescue pup! Dora the Explorer. #rescuedog!" Hemsworth captioned the sweet photo, which comes just days after Wylder's Holistic Pet Center and Rescue 'grammed an image of the actor and the pup with the announcement that Hemsworth was taking the little (big?) lady home.

Miley Cyrus Says She Still 'Loves' Liam Hemsworth

"Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!!" Wylder captioned the pic. "You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!"

The "Wrecking Ball" singer and Hunger Games star are both avid dog lovers, so it only makes sense that Cyrus was the one to match up Hemsworth with a pup looking for a home. The actor is already a dog dad to Tani (you know, the one he deemed his #TrueLove), not to mention that he also owned several pups jointly with Cyrus. (According to Teen Vogue, the singer still owns one of the dogs, while she had to re-home another.)

"Miley sent him a ton of photos —Liam was asking for photos of the dog being held," a Wylder's employee told Us Weekly. "Liam got back from China and literally came right to Wylder's to take the dog home. The dog is super gentle and sweet and took right to Liam, despite being afraid of men in the past."

The only thing that makes this story sweeter? The fact that Hemsworth named the pup Dora after his nieces' and nephews' favorite TV show.
