Everyone has just begun getting used to the idea that Jason (Billy Miller) is still alive and has been back in town for some time, but now, the fact that his fiancee knew who he really was and said nothing could drop a whole new bombshell on General Hospital.

Elizabeth (Rebecca Herbst) and Nikolas (Tyler Christopher) were keeping the truth about Jason's identity a secret for months, and by association, Laura (Genie Francis) has also been in on the loop. And now, Sam (Kelly Monaco) knows there is something that she isn't aware of concerning the man who is still technically her husband-and she will start seeking answers about Elizabeth may have known by confronting Laura.

"You and Elizabeth are keeping a secret," she says to Laura in a preview clip for the Tuesday, Dec. 1 episode.

Tension Threatens The Jerome Thanksgiving

Laura will try to do damage control over the situation since she promised both Nikolas and Elizabeth she would never rat them out, but it may be too late once she learns that Sam got her intel from Jake-and she can't call her young grandson a liar.

Meanwhile, Carly (Laura Wright) is still adamant that Jason needs to rekindle things with Sam, despite the fact that he's with Elizabeth and Sam is now with Patrick (Jason Thompson). And when Elizabeth continues to resist her attempts to convince her to let Jason go, Carly will give her an ominous warning-one that she doesn't realize hits Elizabeth harder than normal because she's been keeping the truth about his identity from him for so long.

"He is going to resent you for what you've done to him," she says in the clip.

General Hospital airs Monday-Friday at 3 p.m. on ABC.
