Kate Middleton might not feel very comfortable in the spotlight at times, but apparently she is desperate to be Queen of England. A new report says that the Duchess is doing whatever it takes to show Queen Elizabeth that she is ready to rule the land alongside her husband Prince William as the Queen is seriously considering skipping over Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles to give Wills and Kate the throne when she dies instead.

Duchess Catherine News: Critics Say Kate Middleton's Diet Is Taking A Toll On Her Looks

According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry on Sunday, Camilla is supposedly furious over the fact that the Queen is giving the Duchess so much attention these days. Apparently Camilla felt like she had a stake "stabbed in her heart" when the Queen decided to give the Duchess Princess Diana's tiara, which is also known as the "Cambridge Lover's Knot" during a diplomatic reception last month. Royal sources say that the upscale soiree was considered Duchess Kate's first "official outing as the new Queen."

One source in particular said, "It will take more than that for Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall to be passed over as the next King and Queen. But there's always the possibility that Queen Elizabeth can make that happen - and Kate Middleton wants to ensure she has done everything possible to be Queen instead of Camilla Parker-Bowles."
