Mothers will always be mothers. Kris Jenner especially knows this to be true, which explains why the 60-year-old and mother of six "is on her way home" from vacationing in St. Barts to be by son Rob Kardashian's side after his recent health scare, a source confirms to E! News.

Over the Holidays, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star was recently rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles of not feeling well. E! News also confirmed that the doctors performed various tests before concluding that Rob is diabetic.

Is Rob Kardashian Diagnosed With Diabetes?

The 28-year-old reality star, who shield away for quite some time, was diagnosed with diabetes after having gained an estimated 100 pounds. The star was home by Tuesday. "He went for a little and is fine now," a source told E! News. Reports also reveal that the sudden hospitalization and diabetes diagnosis "was a wake up call."

An insider added that tests revealed Rob's blood sugar levels were very high and he was told by doctors that he needs to lose weight, exercise and dramatically change his diet or his health will continue to deteriorate.

Meanwhile, Rob’s still has the undying support from his entire extended Kardashian-Jenner family as he works on developing his healthier lifestyle. As momager Kris dishes with E! News, "He's OK. He's just working on himself a little bit and trying to be a better Rob, so I just have to trust that he's good...We're all him to support him for whatever he needs, but he's doing OK."

Also his sisters took to their Instagram for their love and undying support towards their younger brother. Just recently, Khloe Kardashian posted an adorable throwback selfie of herself pouting for the camera while brother Rob gave her a kiss on the cheek. "If only you could see yourself through my eyes!
