'The Blacklist' Season 3: THIS Character's Life Is On The Line? EP Speaks Out

Gina Zanetakos (Margarita Levieva) is back, and the former Blacklister may throw a wrench in the Tom (Ryan Eggold) and Liz (Megan Boone) relationship. Known for her season 1 roles as an assassin, a corporate spy, and Tom's lover, Zanetakos will return as February begins. Interestingly enough, it will be Tom who calls her back in.

"Tom's going to turn to Gina in a moment of desperation for some help," series creator Jon Bokenkamp told Entertainment Weekly. "It's going to be fun to see him turn back to somebody who he was essentially in a similar relationship to with Liz. He had been undercover playing her significant other."

While Tom ultimately came to have real feelings for Liz, it was never made clear if he felt the same for Gina or if he was merely playing a part. Perhaps the truth will soon come out.

"They're going to have to re-team for a mission and it might be somewhat spicy," Bokenkamp teased.

The Blacklist airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET on NBC.
