Fans of ABC's anthology series Secrets and Lies may finally be getting some good news about the show's projected return for a second season.

'Secrets and Lies' Season 2 Pushed Back By ABC?

The cast was all present at the TCA Winter Press Tour last week to dish on the highly anticipated series' return, and revealed new details about how the show would differ this time around from what they saw in the first season.

The biggest change--besides a new mystery and cast of potential suspects for Detective Andrea Cornell (Juliette Lewis) to investigate--is that fans may find themselves more sympathetic to the seemingly emotionless detective this time around because the show plans to have a more split POV throughout the new season.

'Secrets and Lies' Officially Wraps Filming On Season 2

"Throughout the arc of last season...primarily the point of view was that of Ben Crawford (Ryan Phillippe)," series creator Barbie Kligman said at the event. "Whatever Cornell was doing would seem even more irritating because it was seen through his guilt or worry."

However, in season two, Cornell's POV will be seen much earlier, and will be split opposite main protagonist Eric Warner's (Michael Ealy) more often, something Kligman assured would be "very refreshing" for the audience.

However, what fans have been more anxious to hear about has been a premiere date for the new season--which wasn't revealed during the conference. But a post to the show's official webpage advertising a fan page has suggested the show could premiere as early as March 1, meaning the series could be back sooner than anticipated.

However, this has not been confirmed by ABC or anyone in the cast.

Season two will follow Cornell as she investigates the murder of Eric's wife, Kate (Jordana Brewster) on the night of his father's retirement party. As she investigates Eric and his family, including his father, John (Terry O'Quinn), sister, Amanda (Mekia Cox), and brother, Patrick (Charlie Barnett), dark secrets begin to emerge.

Cornell is the only cast member to be returning from the show's first season, which investigated the murder of Ben Crawford's son.
