Fans of the ABC series Secrets and Lies were disappointed when they saw the show's planned season two premiere date had been pushed back, but there may finally be some hope on the horizon.

'Secrets and Lies' Off ABC Midseason Schedule

Not only was the show pushed out of its original planned time slot in favor of season two of American Crime, it appeared to be left off ABC's entire Spring schedule as well, sparking concern from fans that the show's promised return was in jeopardy. However, according to recent social media posts from some of the second season's cast members, it appears things are still on track for the show to eventually premiere new episodes.

Mekia Cox, who will be portraying Amanda Warner on the new season, and Kenny Johnson, who will portray Danny, both took to their Instagram accounts to share photos from their last day of filming last week--meaning that things have wrapped up on set and the show could soon be hitting ABC's schedule after all.

"Last day on set. I'm gonna miss this chick. #secretsandlies #abc," Cox captioned a photo of her character's name on the series.

Johnson shared an image of himself with one of the members of the show's crew, noting they were all getting together for their last day.

"Great crew secrets and lies. Last day !!!!!" he wrote.

It is unclear if the series experienced delays in filming which led to it being pushed further off of ABC's schedule. Neither Cox nor Johnson posted anything about a premiere date.
