The host of Ink Master gave an official air date on when the new season begins.

Duffy Fortner Dishes On 'Ink Master' Season 6 Finale

Reality contestant judge Dave Navarro took to Twitter on Friday to let fans know that the seventh season of the tattoo series will begin on March 1 with title details.

In fact, Navarro showed his excitement to get back to work on the show in a Twitter post a few weeks ago.

At this point, the cast of Season 7 remains a mystery- and the kind of styles they'll bring is also left to the imagination. But odds are likely it'll be worth watching as the series gets a little crazier each season.

Duffy Fortner, who competed in Season 6, previously opened up to Carter Matt on how a female has yet to win the competition although gender doesn't define a good tattoo artist.

"Not sure why there hasn't been a female winner yet, but there were only three female contestants out of a total of 18 (in my season specifically)," she said. "Maybe if there were more females on the show we would have a better chance of seeing a female winner. But the tattoos speak for themselves, male or female."
