Robert Iwin, 11, was seen in the audience every week supporting his big sister Bindi during the latest season of Dancing With the Stars. But does Robert want to follow in her footsteps? Apparently he would find the possibility very exciting.

"It would be a lot of fun--it would be pretty incredible," Robert said in an Irwin family interview on Australia's Today Show this week.

Terri Irwin, Robert and Bindi's mother, said that he was being "eyed off by the producers" for a potential role in the next season of Dancing With the Stars.

Robert also spoke about what a new experience Dancing With the Stars was for the Irwin family, who typically deals with animals in the zoo.

"For us this is completely different from anything we have ever done--I mean we are certainly not used to all of these sparkles and rhinestones and heels so it's a really different situation to jumping on crocs and catching snakes in the mud," he quipped.

At 11, Robert would be the youngest Dancing With the Stars competitor in history, beating 14-year-old Willow Shields' record from season 20.

Bindi won this past season of Dancing With the Stars with her pro partner Derek Hough, so it may become competitive for Robert to potentially take home his own Mirrorball trophy.

The new Dancing With the Stars cast won't be announced until a few weeks before the season premieres.

Dancing With the Stars season 22 begins Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
