Hayes Grier is heavily campaigning for Sasha Farber to become a Dancing With the Stars pro next season.

Grier is taking advantage of his social media presence to help out a Dancing With the Stars pal. The Vine star competed on the most recent season of Dancing With the Stars and came in eighth place, and he made some friends along the way.

As such, Grier is now hoping to get his Twitter following behind him to make Farber a pro on season 22 of Dancing With the Stars. Farber has only competed as a pro once, with Snooki in season 17, though he also filled in for Derek Hough for three weeks during season 20. Farber is currently part of the dance troupe.

It remains to be seen if Grier's efforts will get Farber back to pro status on Dancing With the Stars next season, but it does at least show that many fans are hoping for it alongside Grier.

The pro announcement usually doesn't take place until the last few weeks leading up to a new season, so don't expect a big proclamation yet.

Dancing Wit the Stars season 22 premieres on Monday, March 21 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on ABC.
