It's called fast food for a reason.

Taco Bell fans are angered by the delayed debut of the latest Doritos-inspired taco, Cool Ranch Doritos tacos.

Taco Bell advertised on Twitter and Facebook that the new taco would be available starting March 6 rather than March 7, which was a day earlier than originally planned. However, many people complained on the same social media sites that the restaurants in their area didn't have the new tacos yet.

Some wrote comments such as "lies and slander" while others criticized the negativity customers were expressing. One Facebook user named Theodora wrote, "I don't know what's funnier -- Taco Bell's massive marketing fail, or just the fact that there are so many people who feel like their whole day is ruined because they can't get a particular kind of taco."

The frenzy means the Doritos tacos have been very popular. Taco Bell CEO Greg Creed said the Doritos tacos have accounted for about a quarter of all taco sales. Those who tried the tacos posted on Facebook "Deliciousness" and "It's so good."

The nacho cheese flavored Doritos Locos Taco costs $1.39 and were introduced a year ago.
