Few casts do more for their fans than the good folks at Supernatural, and now Jensen Ackles and Misha Collins are teaming up to launch a crisis hotline.

'Supernatural' Season 11: Will Season 5 Sam Or Dean Reappear In Episode 16? Jim Beaver Teases Return

The men behind Dean Winchester and Castiel launched their "You Are Not Alone" campaign on Thursday, the funds from which will go towards creating the SPNFamily Crisis Support Network with Random Acts, IMAlive and To Write Love On Her Arms (TWLOHA).

So, how exactly will this new venture work? Collins broke it down during a Facebook live stream.

'Supernatural' Season 11: 'The Vessel' Plot Revealed! Find Out Why Will Lucifer Will Send Dean To WWII

"You may have noticed that we have launched a T-shit/sweatshirt/swag campaign...and that is going to support a new program we are launching where we will train fans to man essentially an online crisis hotline so that people who are having a hard time, who are at a crisis point in their lives, can call in and there's this awesome supportive network that's waiting there ready to help and support them," Collins explained.

The hotline itself is only one piece of the puzzle, however.

"Random Acts is Partnering with IMAlive and To Write Love On Her Arms. IMAlive is basically this first line of defense and they're helping us to put together this crisis hotline," Collins elaborated. "To Write Love On Her Arms is going to help us find resources for those people who do call in, in their local areas so that they can get the help that they really need."

Random Acts and TWLOHA are not unfamiliar organizations for members of the Supernatural fandom. Founded by Collins, Random Acts is known for its Annual Melee of Kindness (AMOK), Endure4Kindness, its association with GISHWHES, and the building of schools in Haiti and Nicaragua. TWLOHA previously partnered with Jared Padalecki's "Always Keep Fighting" campaign.

Speaking of Padalecki, he, too, is involved with the Crisis Support Network.

"You'll see how he's a part of it in a couple of days, I believe," Ackles explained. "It's all for the same beautiful thing, and that's what the Supernatural family and the fandom is."

In other words, there may be a new "Always Keep Fighting" project just around the corner.

As always, Supernatural airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
