iZombie's Liv Moore will have to shelve her family issues until next season.

Seattle's preeminent zombie kicked off the sophomore run as the Moore family least wanted, and despite a mention of Evan during "The Whopper," it appears as if the docs relatives won't re-enter the picture ahead of the season finale.

"There are a few [storylines] that [fell] by the wayside just because we got so jam-packed," showrunner Rob Thomas told TV Line. "Unfortunately for Evan, Eva, and Liv, this means there will be no reconciliation ahead of the long summer hiatus."

Don't worry, however. Should iZombie receive a renewal, the other Moores will get their time in the spotlight.

"[It] is certainly something that we think - knock on wood - we could get to [in Season 3]," Thomas teased.

This also means that the Mr. Moore's debut is also on hold. Liv's father has yet to even earn a passing mention, but Thomas previously assured viewers that his current MIA status is intentional.

"We kept him intentionally unmentioned because we hadn't worked out how we wanted to bring him in or what we wanted to do with him," the EP told TV Line. "We have a desire to do it, and I think we have a neat backstory on their dad."
