iZombie's cure has gone the way of the birds, and for Blaine, his reversion couldn't happen at a better time.

For Blaine (David Anders) and Major (Robert Buckley), time is running out. The hero and the villain both received a dose of Ravi's original cure, but since the Doc never had a chance to test the magic bullet, the two former members of the undead are suddenly stuck facing down their own mortality. The powers that be, however, switched Blaine back into zombie mode just in time for Mr. Boss to "kill" him.

You should have shot him in the head, Boss.

Now that Blaine has clawed his way out of his shallow grave, he must decide whether or not to reveal his resurrection to Seattle's criminal underworld.

"Well, that's a big decision for Blaine: whether to make a flashy reentrance into the world, or lay low for a while," Anders teased, according to TV Insider. "That's something to be revealed. Boss might be in the dark about whether Blaine is alive or dead."

There is one thing Blaine knows for sure - he has to drop by the morgue for a status update.

"For Blaine and Major, they're against the clock," the actor explained. "In the next episode, the first person Blaine goes to see is Dr. Chakrabarti. We'll get to the bottom of this new cure thing; he may have something for Blaine."
