Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow have been separated for quite some time now, but is the singer having second thoughts about his marriage? That might be the case, as a new report says the Coldplay frontman hasn't responded to Paltrow's divorce petition yet.

According to TMZ on Tuesday, Martin seems to be taking his time, as he's failed to respond to the Hollywood actress' separation papers, which could ultimately lead to her being eligible for a default judgment, meaning Martin wouldn't have a right to counter claim.

Paltrow's petition asks for joint custody of their two children, Apple and Moses. She filed for divorce in April of 2015 but it wasn't until a month later that Martin was served with the legal documents.

He hasn't made any moves since then.

The singer previously said that he doesn't want to have any animosity between him and his ex-wife and that he didn't want their divorce to leave a negative impact on their two small children.

He said, "If you have kids and they start reading about their parents not liking each other, that's not good. We just spent a long time trying to maintain a friendship so there wouldn't have to be any kind of battle.''

So far Paltrow herself hasn't made any comments about the report.
