Captain America: Civil War will force you to feel all the feels.

'Captain America: Civil War' Trailer: How Will Film Connect To 'Agents Of SHIELD', Clark Gregg Drops Teasers

On May 6, tensions in the Marvel Cinematic Universe will come to a boiling point. Between the Sokovia Accords and Bucky Barnes' (Sebastian Stan) reappearance, the MCU is drawing a line in the sand. When Iron Man (Robert Downey, Jr.) and Captain America (Chris Evans) find themselves on different sides, fans will weep.

Marvel recently screened an unfinished version of the film, and Birth. Movies. Death. was on hand to hear fan reactions. Not only did the recent viewing confirm that Civil War is not Avengers 2.5, but it also confirmed some of fans' worst suspicions: Tony Stark and Steve Rogers are out to break our hearts.

'Captain America: Civil War' Spiderman: Russos Promise Entirely 'Unique' Peter Parker, What Should You Expect?

"One person told me that the last act plays out as an emotional horror movie because the film gives both Tony and Steve solid reasoning, and because it truly makes you feel the depths of this schism," Birth. Movies. Death.'s Devin Faraci wrote on Tuesday.

Don't let fear of a heart-wrenching ending steer you away; according to Birth. Movies. Death., the reviews were overwhelmingly positive.

Unfortunately, there is no word as to who may die in the final act. Canonically, Civil War ends with the death of the Star-Spangled Avenger. Marvel Studios generally puts a brand new spin on old tales, however, so it seems unlikely that Caps will meet his end this year. For us, the smart money is on an Iron Man death, but we're just going to have to wait and see.

Captain America: Civil War will enter theaters on May 6.
