While reports spread that Nicki Minaj and Meek Mill are happily back together, new rumors have surfaced and claimed that Nicki is pretty excited to get away from her longtime boyfriend for a few days.

Meek is stuck at home in Philadelphia on house arrest after he broke the terms of his probation last year. But Nicki is slated to go on a tour in South Africa; meaning she has to leave him behind. And word is she can’t leave the states fast enough.

“In just a few days, Nicki will leave for her tour and Meek is miserable,” one source told Hollywood Life earlier this week. “He’s been smothering her to death. All he’s wanted to do is lay next to her, cuddle, watch movies and have sex.”

They added that Nicki is all good with that, “but not every day.”

Because of Meek’s alleged clingy status, Nicki is said to be very ready to leave for her tour.

“[She] can’t wait! She’s very much looking forward to going on a Meek hiatus. She loves her man with all her heart, but a sister has to breathe. It’s sad.”

Nicki is crediting his house arrest as the reason why he wants to be so close to her at all times.

“She can’t change that and what’s done is done. She’s done her best to make Meek happy at home this last week, and now mama’s ready to get back on stage where she belongs.”
