Emotions were high in the taping of the Mob Wives reunion and now that the Drita D’Avanzo and Karen Gravano’s fight has aired on the VH1 show, Gravano said there is lots that we didn’t see that led up to it.

She spilled some secrets about the reunion with Radar Online Monday morning and made it clear about what caused her to snap. While D’Avanzo was the first to lay hands ( she told Gravano to “get up” as soon as she walked into the room and the two went at it), Gravano was the one who had to removed from the set after she refused to calm down.

She said, “What’s missing in the reunion, what people didn’t get to see is the real footage of what she said about my father. That’s why I was going so crazy.”

She added that when she made her return to the sixth season (after going on hiatus during season five), D’Avanzo was not happy.

“She went over to production and started complaining that VH1 is very stupid to get involved with [my father] Sammy the Bull. She doesn’t want to put her family in jeopardy. That my father’s going to come home out of jail, have nothing and start killing people and basically she’s going to quit the show if I came back.”

She said the network’s production team took the threats very seriously and addressed Gravano about it. She added that she knew it wasn’t true.
“If my father was going to kill someone, he would never warn you first. That’s a complete lie—made up…[and] everyone in the rom felt that Drita backpedaled. And we squashed it.”

But things quickly went left when Gravano found out that D’Avanzo was trying to “block money” and get her booted from the show because of her own ulterior motives, Gravano said.

“She never wanted to be exposed about what happened in season 4 before we all left. Me, Drita, Carla and Ramona made a pact. We were going to stick together. We were going to ask for more things in our contract—and the last second Drita sold us out. She told the network what we were doing and went to work.”

Gravano made it clear that her father is not worried about D’Avanzo.
